So Three Career Fairs in 10 Days!

Yep, I did that!
I just wrapped up my 3rd career fair in 10 days. The first was a virtual fair that over 500 attended virtually, with over 40 employers I worked with in various capacities. The challenge of having a Handshake virtual career fair is a scheduler, so if employers don't set up their schedule, students can't side up to see them.
The upside is being able to organize a career fair in 10 sessions or 30 minutes, which is a much longer conversation than an in-person fair.
The downside is the feeling of being disconnected from the fair because you're just waiting in the zoom room for the entire day to offer support to questions. So essentially a help desk but virtual!
My findings I will look into innovative platforms for virtual career fairs because the connection of bringing together folks should mean more than an appt.
The second career fair was for On-Campus Departments, and that one was a bright, cheery schematic, much like the schools of colors! Repping Highlander Pride that day. Over 400 people were in an indoor - space in the room that perhaps was a little too large!
The graphic looked awesome in the space! Additionally, more branding items could have represented the space better. Lesson learned.
The third and last career fair was beautiful. The white and beautiful colors of the graphic bought a clean and colorful schematic. Over 50 employers were in the space, with so many pop-up banners.
Look beautiful; over 400 people were in attendance! And the Social Media Team was rocking stories, reels, and pics throughout the event!
